Your BMW will let you know when it’s time for service via the iDrive in-vehicle display. If you have subscribed to BMW Proactive Care®, you will be notified via message in the My BMW App, an in-vehicle notification, email from your preferred BMW Retailer service centre or by a call from BMW Roadside Assistance.

BMW Proactive Care® is available worldwide for all BMW models with BMW Operating System 7 (from version 07/2019) or later. To enjoy the full extent of Proactive Care services for your BMW, you will need an active BMW ConnectedDrive® account for your BMW and your vehicle must be added to your BMW ID in the My BMW app or on the My BMW portal. Please add your current phone number and email address plus your preferred BMW Retailer to your personal details in your BMW ID. **New Internal Combustion Engines and Plug-in Hybrid Electric BMW vehicles (model year 2027 and newer) purchased from an authorized BMW Retailer in Canada are covered by a No-Charge Scheduled Maintenance plan for 2 years or 40,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. New Internal Combustion Engines and Plug-in Hybrid Electric BMW vehicles (model year 2022 to 2026) purchased from an authorized BMW Retailer in Canada are covered by a No-Charge Scheduled Maintenance plan for 3 years or 60,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. New Battery Electric BMW vehicles (model year 2022 and newer) purchased from an authorized BMW Retailer in Canada are covered by a No-Charge Scheduled Maintenance plan for 3 year, unlimited kilometers. The maintenance schedule intervals are based on normal driving conditions and operations. Additional maintenance not identified by the vehicles on-board maintenance system, or wear and tear items such as brakes, clutch, and wipers will not be covered. Coverage begins on the date of sale, or the date the vehicle is placed in service as a demonstrator or company vehicle, whichever comes first.
†BMW Canada provides a two year, unlimited parts and labour warranty against defects in material and workmanship on eligible BMW Original Parts (new and remanufactured) installed by an authorized BMW Retailer. Parts replaced under the BMW Limited Parts Warranty receive the remainder of the original 2 years warranty.
